WHAT IS ANSWERGARDEN?
AnswerGarden is a free app that allows teachers to collect real time feedback from students. It can be used for group brainstorming activities or it can be used to assess a classes knowledge on a given subject. This is made for brief responses only. Ideally, you want to use questions that can have multiple short answers.
AnswerGarden can be downloaded as an app, or it can be accessed online via the website. There is also the choice of embedding it into a blog, social networking page, or website.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You start by “planting” a topic or question in your AnwserGarden. Once that is completed, you can share your AnwserGarden with others. Each garden is given an individual link for sharing. You are also provided with an embed code if you wish to post your garden to a website or blog. Respondents can then reply to your topic either by entering their response or choosing from existing answer choices. Their responses form a word cloud that can be visually evaluated.
